Your week runs from Sunday to Saturday, and you will receive a reminder from Iknow church about your start date. Please water in the morning if that is possible. At each visit 2/3 times per week, or daily in hot dry weather, please check for slugs and snails in troughs and planters, and tie in any growth to canes before watering.
Church
There is a tap beside the laurel bush at the front left of the church. A polythene bag containing string and scissors is nearby. Attach the hose and use for urns, and tubs in front of the main door. The hose stretches to reach most of the garden bordering Claremont Avenue, but a watering can will probably have to be used to reach plants near the hedge.
Use the water butt and watering cans for the tubs and planters in the Peace Garden. The small watering can is for the cross. NB Cross dries out very quickly.
Memorial Hall Garden and Planters
Hose is located beside the Lonicera close to the tap in the “Garden”. String and scissors are in a polythene bag nearby. NB all tubs and containers require watering. Corn Marigolds and some other plants have seeded in the planters and gravel. Please do not do any weeding unless you are 100% sure plant is a weed. Nasturtium seeds have been planted between the planters.
Feeding
When feeding is thought to be required, a bottle of Tomorite will be left beside the string and scissors. Feeding is only required once weekly on a Friday (Friday Feeding) and is best done with a watering can.
