Worship at Orchardhill

The people of Orchardhill Parish Church believe that worshipping God is our highest priority. The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and receiving His blessing and inspiration. Come along and enjoy meeting new friends and neighbours. You will be made most welcome at whatever style of worship suits you.

Sunday

9.45am   Contemporary Worship
This family service involves our young people and is led by the Minister and assisted by the praise team. Hymns and praise songs complement the state of the art audio visuals along with dynamic preaching and community atmosphere. Grab a cup of tea or coffee afterwards and get to know everyone. Children welcome. Sunday School / Stepping Stones details below.

11:15am Traditional Worship
Our traditional service in the Sanctuary is led by our Minister and Chancel Choir. These uplifting services offer inspirational messages and a formal order of worship.

6.30pm    Evening Worship (1st Sunday of month)
This reflective service is a time of contemplation and devotion when there is the opportunity to be still before God and study His Word in more detail.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2^nd Sunday in March, June, September and the 1^st Sunday in December, plus Easter and the 1^st Sunday of the New Year after the Service. There is also a special communion service on Maundy Thursday.

Baptisms

Please note that all Baptisms take place on the first Sunday of the month at the service of the family's choice to enable us to continue and develop the worship programme. Please contact the Minister prior to making any arrangements in order to avoid disappointment.

Young People and Youth Ministry

Stepping Stones (Sunday School)

Smartie Gang - age 3 - 5    

All Stars - Primary 1 & 2 (age 5 – 7)   

Hot Shots - Primary 3, 4 & 5 age (7 – 10)       

Hogwarts - Primary  6 & 7 (age 10 – 12)

Bridges - Secondary 1 upwards

Stepping Stones, Bridges, attend part of the 9.45am Family Service in the Church before splitting up into their groups. 

Fusion / Y Fusion 

Fusion meets in the Memorial Halls at 6pm for S1-S3 followed By Y Fusion at 7:30pm for S4 upwards.

Our church has easy access for wheelchair users.

We also have a loop system to assist those with   hearing difficulties
