Tweenies become Rainbows

For girls aged 5 to 7

Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm

After 44 years of the Tweenies in Orchardhill the time has come to change to be a part of Girlguiding and become Rainbows. The Rainbow Guides, founded in 1987, are the newest and youngest section of the Guiding family for girls aged between five and seven years of age.

I took over the Tweenies in June 2008, but over the years since 1966 there have been many leaders including Evelyn McMurtrie, founder of Orchardhill Tweenies, as well as Janice Taylor, Sheila Yuill and Gillian Taylor, Kirsty Watson, Lynn Gibson, and Irene McNeilage.
