The 86th Glasgow Junior Section Activity Programme provides an informal award scheme. This allows boys to gain their awards as they take part in the Friday night programme activities.
The Junior Target Award requires 5 activities, one from each of the five zones and is usually awarded shortly after joining the Junior Section.
The Junior Bronze Award requires 10 activities with at least one from each of the five zones and is usually awarded at age 8/9.
The Junior Silver Award requires 20 activities with at least three from each of the five zones and is usually awarded at age 9/10.
The Junior Gold Award requires 20 activities with at least three from each of the five zones and is usually awarded at age 10/11.
Awards are worn on a black armband as shown

In addition Juniors will earn a service badge which shows how many years they have been a member for. A Junior who has been with The Boys' Brigade since 5 years old can earn up to 6 years service.
