It
was August 1988 when eight enthusiastic people met together to explore ways
to use their talents to praise the Lord in a fresh way. The years have
passed, our numbers have grown and we’ve travelled to many interesting
places together but the most enduring aspects of being a member of
CrossWords are the opportunities to praise and worship God and make many
friendships along the way. |

From our earliest days we have
always applied our own arrangements to the latest contemporary Christian music,
using meditations, poetry and dialogue to deliver the Christian message in a
fresh and dynamic way. As well as leading or participating in worship we have a
varied programme, including secular items, from our extensive repertoire. |

Recent praise night @ Orchardhill
What more does the Lord
have to do? (Acts 9: 1-22)
Saul, was a man
who hated the church. He hated Jesus, he hated Christians and he hated
anything that had to do with Christianity. Because of his hatred, he did
everything within his power to destroy it.
When Saul is
knocked down by God, he does something that reveals his broken spirit. He
asks two questions. They are probably the two most important questions we
can ever ask God. They are;
Christ blinded
Saul to let him know that he wasn’t seeing what God really wanted him to do
with his life.
What response do
you need to make to Christ today?
What more does
the Lord have to do? |

My heart is
steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. I will
praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For
great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the
skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the
earth.
