Fair Trade Products
It's almost year since Orchardhill became a Fairtrade Church and with it a commitment to help people in Third World countries who are in the grip of poverty. My thanks to all the organisations in the Church for supporting this application.
Fairtrade white, cane Demerara and muscovado sugars are all becoming more widely available, and we would like to encourage all organisations to add Fairtrade sugar to their supplies of tea and coffee.
Decaffeinated tea and coffee and a new range of fruit/herbal infusions e.g. wild berry, peppermint, camomile, lemon and ginger also are now available.
If anyone has difficulty sourcing any of these products, please contact Catriona McGuiggan. The above products are also available via the Orchard Tea Room. |
