ORCHARDHILL PARISH CHURCH, GIFFNOCK

As our congregation moves forward in exploring the direction we should take in the future I believe that it is important in that process to explore what others are doing and what those in the ”KNOW” are saying about the future of the church in Scotland and beyond.  To this end I want to commend to all the Elders and members some of the conferences that are coming in the next few months.  It would be good to get groups going to these and feeding the back into the Kirk Session and congregation as part of our ongoing mission strategy.  If you are able to attend any of these please contact either Mrs Fiona Thomson or me – we would like to take advantage of group bookings and travelling together, also I may be able to get some of these resourced if you go as a church representative.

Connect

Reflect, Share, Receive, Network, Pray

The first RUN Connect day will soon be upon us. Designed to be informal and relaxed meeting places with some structure but plenty of space to engage with others of like mind but with a variety of experiences. Each is hosted by a RUN member church.  There will be opportunity to share stories, share resources, reflect on what God is doing and pray together.  Although informal, each event will be facilitated by a member of the RUN Executive Team.

These days are open to both RUN Members and non-members alike.  If you are already a member, please do consider inviting a guest.
